| Professional Background
Mariana began her professional career in the Procedural Law and Arbitration Department of Uría Menéndez in their Madrid and Valencia offices, where she remained for 3 years until joining the Garrigues law firm. There, she spent 7 years providing her services as head of the Procedural and Arbitration Department at the Burgos office. In 2012, she embarked upon a new professional journey by opening her own law office, collaborating closely with the rest of the partners at Actio Summa until its founding in October of 2021.
She currently provides advising services in conflict situations in out-of-court negotiations and in civil, commercial, and contentious-administrative proceedings, likewise handling all types of court proceedings in matters that range from real rights, construction matters, civil liability, claims for payment, disputes over compliance with civil and commercial contracts, administrative sanction law, and cases regarding governmental material liability.
She also specializes in bankruptcy law, defense of creditor rights, withdrawal from contracts, and other bankruptcy matters, as well as in providing advice during situations of economic crisis for companies and individuals.
